I built this for the Storytellers Exhibit at The Edge Gallery.

Imagine an alternate universe where canada respected the people, land, and cultures. Imagine they came to a reasonable agreement at the signing of treaty one. The story of a family who was allowed to live off the grid, in a familiar home, with some adopted modern materials over time...

This 1/3rd scale is what I imagined it would be like. The window designs and paintings is part of all we know of ancient indigenous art without western influence. They're replicated design elements from 300+ year old petroglyphs along the Bloodvein river.
